Mollie the Mermaid
Mollie the Mermaid sits by the ocean on the sand every day for
hours. She dreams of what it would be like with legs. She wishes
as hard as she possibly can with her magic pearl, but still does
not have legs. She dove back into the water and swam deep
in the sea to her underwater cave. She lay down on her luxury
seaweed bed and dreams of having legs. When she awakes she
still has a tail, she swims up to the surface and as soon as she
reaches land she has legs. She does not believe it, she dives
into the water then she has tail she goes on land, she has legs.
She decides to wander on land, She reaches a small town.
Wobble to the right wobble to the left! She realizes legs are
very hard to use indeed. She fell right into a shop window
and the glass shatters. She runs back to the ocean as fast as
she possibly could so she would not get into trouble! She
dives into the water and BOOM she gains her tail! She is
so happy and she sneaks back up to the beach and realizes
she did not get legs. It seems the wishing pearl only gave
her a day as a human. I guess she preferred her tail anyway.
She lay on the beach and watched the sunset as she fall asleep.
