Eating Edible Bugs

Have you run out of dinner Ideas? How about
 making a meal with meal worm fries, then 
cricket salad. Your third course is chocolate
 covered crickets! I strongly recommend that
 you start cooking with insects. For most people 
even thinking about eating bugs make them say 
“YUCK” with disgust. My challenge for you is 
to try bugs. Bugs will give you a healthy diet
 and their are so many fun and tasty treats you
 can prepare with bugs.


Just think outside the box. Meal worm fries, 
chocolate covered crickets and scorpion
 lollipops these are just a few things you can 
make and they are a super quick and easy
 afternoon snack. Did you know that some bugs
 actually tend to taste a bit nutty and crickets
 taste like nutty shrimp. But, what are the health
 benefits we can get through eating bugs?

There are lots of health benefits you can get
 through eating bugs, bugs are actually quite 
nutritious and you can gain lots from them
 like carbs, protein, fiber, vitamins, essential
 minerals, and healthy fats, but you won't gain
 weight by eating insects because they don’t
 have calories. Grasshoppers and Crickets are
 rich in protein and you can find them pretty
 much anywhere. Still not convinced? Maybe
 creative dinners will change your mind!

Caramel cricket cheesecake, wax worm tacos,
 carrot worm soup, ginger cricket cookies,
 tarantula gummy bears, spicy cricket fritter 
and so many more. These are all creative 
cooking ideas. You could make a three course
 meal with all these Ideas. The appetizer would
 be mini spicy cricket fritters, the entree would
 be carrot and worm soup, the meal would be 
wax worm tacos and then the desert would be
 caramel cricket cheesecake! You could probably
 make even more delicious meals with bugs. 
Lots of countries like Thailand, Mexico, China 
, Australia and Brazil are all countries that cook 
with insects.

As you can see, there are many reasons why you
 should cook with insects, like tasty treats, health
 benefits, and creative cooking! Insects are a fun 
and tasty quick snack that you can eat at any time. 
You can eat as much as you like but not put on any 
weight and they are protein rich! You can make
 amazing dishes like caramel cricket cheesecake
 and wax worm tacos and more! I hope now, you
 will take the time, to try insects!
