Poems

In Room 5 we are learning about poetry.   We all had to write a poem about an object.  We all wrote our poems on post cards and today the postal service are picking them up and they are going to another school in New Zealand and we will also be receiving poems as well.
These are my poems, The first poem is about a rock and the second poem is about a gem:

Erosive   -   Anagram
Small Stone
Scratchy hard solid tangy
short stubby sleek and firm
Detailed oval polished clean
Soft and smooth
Rock   -   Item

Emote   -   Anagram
Small dazzling
Smooth with sharp edges
Hard solid serine motionless shimmery
Glistening in the sun
Red like blood
Gem   -   Item
